Chapter Information
ARMA Milwaukee has served
as a valued resource to records and information professionals for more
than 50 years. According to the ARMA International
Administrative Letter No. 130, dated July 1, 2001, the Milwaukee Chapter
of ARMA International was chartered with ARMA headquarters on July 1,
1948.

As the leading authority on the management of records and information,
ARMA International is a not-for-profit association that offers its
membership the following resources, including, legislative and regulatory
updates; standards and best practices; technology trends and applications,
live and web-based education; marketplace news and analysis; and books
and videotapes on managing records and information.
The membership of ARMA International
includes a global network of more than 10,000 records and information
management professionals in the United
States, Canada, and 30-plus other countries. ARMA members hold positions
as records managers, archivists, corporate librarians, imaging specialists,
legal professionals, information technology managers, consultants, and
educators; and they are employed in a wide variety of public and private
organizations, such as government, legal, healthcare, financial services,
manufacturing, and utilities.
